Our solution also works with your Laptop's DVD-ROM S-Video out!
The picture shows our exclusive "S-Video to RCA" adapter (top, right cable) connected to our video conditioner; the power supply connected to the video conditioner; and an RCA, male-to-male cable from the video conditioner that connects to the VCR's yellow video input jack. ADVANTAGES:
Kills Macrosplat. Need we say more? Of course, with the US legislature in the pockets of the giant media companies we got to tell you "AMF-YOYO" (Adios My Friend, Your on Your Own) if you use this product to copy that rented DVD with your VCR. We think that the "Adios MF" version just sounds better, though it might offend those that belong to MAFL-Mothers Against Foul Language. Instead of saying good-bye, cheers, adieu, etc. just say the letters AMFYOYO next time, you'll feel better. NOTICE: Use of this product for unauthorized duplication of copyrighted material from DVD, VHS or other media is prohibited under federal copyright laws unless the copy qualifies as a fair use under the Copyright Laws. Yada, yada, yada. Macrosplat is what you get if you try to hook up your DVD or DVD-Rom through your VCR or TV/VCR combo - the colors and brightness fade in and out. Macrosplat is activated by your VCR since the "macrovision copyright protection" is embedded in DVDs to prevent them from being copied to VHS tape. That's all fine, but it really is stupid since in order to avoid getting macrosplatted you have to:
- Connect your DVD player or notebook directly to the back of your TV's a/v RCA jacks (a royal pain in the butt).
- Downgrade the video and audio signal to an RF "Coax Antenna" signal with a modulator. See our S-Video to Coax package.
We provide you a better solution without degrading the signal to an RF signal. Now you can really enjoy your DVD without having to purchase an S-Video TV, more cables, switch boxes, rf modulators, etc.
A little trivia: There are over 5 million homes in the USA that have two VCRs hooked together for dubbing VHS tapes. Now we provide you the solution to use the higher s-video quality output of your DVD-ROM or DVD player.

We provide you the connectivity convenience. AMF-YOYO if you decide to copy to VHS tape your rented DVD. (read notice above).
More Advantages:
- Convenience. It's plug & play ready.
- Compatibility. PC, MAC, TV, VCR, TV/VCR combo and DVD.
- Allows for easy hook up of your laptop's DVD ROM (S-Video or composite video out) directly to your VCR's easy to reach front audio/video inputs (yellow video RCA jack and red/white audio RCA jacks) or the back a/v inputs.
- Allows for stereo audio input to your VCR/TV/Receiver instead of the mono audio output of RF Modulators.
- Better than using an RF modulator since you do not downgrade the signal to an RF video signal. If your TV only has an RF Coax antenna input, see our "S-Video to Coax" solution - better yet, just get this and go through your VCR's video/audio inputs.
- Compatible with LAPTOPS that output video via an "S-Video to TV" jack or that have an RCA A/V yellow video jack.
- Compatible with all DVD players that output video through an S-Video or composite video jack.
- Hook up your "stand-alone" DVD player directly to your VCR taking advantage of the DVD player's S-Video output.
- Auto switching - no need to go into the back of your TV or use passive switch boxes. Use your remote controls and let the VCR/TV do the switching.
- Allows for closed captioning pass through to the TV.
- Allows you to continue to use your cable box's RF antenna input into your VCR.
- No need to mess with the wires in the back of your TV.
- No need for additional cables or other sources that only cause interference.
Don't you just want to say "Hasta la vista, Macrosplat!"? Try saying it, with an Arnold S. accent and feel good about terminating macrosplat.
Ratings/comments from customers: Rating: Excellent. "I purchased the S-video to VCR package and I couldn't be more pleased. After an exhaustive and unsuccessful search to find a way to connect my computer and my DVD player to my VCR, I had resigned myself to the fact that I may have to purchase an Super VHS. Then I stumbled across this website and my dreams came true. Not only was I able to connect my computer and DVD to my VCR, but I got the added bonus of being able to copy my DVDs, in accordance with all copyright laws and regulations ;), without the brightness fading in and out. I highly recommend this site to all."
The "S-Video to VCR" is an exclusive of svideo.com It allows you to play DVDs through your VCR or TV/VCR combo. You may want to pay your attorney hundreds of thousands of dollars to interpret "fair use" and to provide you the latest on copying DVDs to VHS, just in case that was what you had in mind.
