The VideoEase PTZ Balun allows CCTV video and "up the coax" Pan, Tilt, Zoom (PTZ) control signals to be transmitted via a single unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable for more versatile cabling.
Used in pairs, the PTZ Balun allows CCTV security and surveillance equipment to be integrated into structured cabling systems, allowing PTZ devices to be moved to any convenient modular wall outlet. The VideoEase PTZ Balun provides a versatile cabling solution for security and surveillance by making use of standard UTP cabling techniques to connect digital coax PTZ and video via a single unshielded twisted pair.
The picture above shows the top view and the side view where the coax cable connects to the female BNC jack on the balun. The top view shows the female RJ45 jack. The picture also shows one end of the RG59 lead that ships with each balun; it's 12 inches long and has 75 ohm male BNC connectors on each end. Note: baluns work in pairs, so you need to order two.
The VideoEasse PTZ Balun works with CCTV cameras and Pan, Tilt, Zoom controllers supporting one video and one PTZ signal over the same coaxial cable. Works with Pelco (tm) Coaxitron (tm), Vicon (tm), Vicoax (tm), Videoalarm (tm) Coaxlynx (tm) and other digital coax pan, tilt, zoom control systems.
Our VideoEase PTZ Balun is made by NHC/muxlab in Canada and carries a lifetime warranty.
