Ok, it features the Monster patented "turbine" RCA connectors that grab your RCA jacks so tight you'll be afraid to pull them off since you may just end up with your RCA jack connected to the RCA plugs of the cable. Note, the patented "turbine" design is just that...a patent on the design of the outer shield of the RCA plug, that, by the way, does not transmit a signal and is only for the ground, they do look cool, and many a customer has been duped by a retail clerk, earning minimum wage, that the cooler it looks the better. All the connectors are joined together by one braided nylon cable. The nylon braid is really a stupid design that only adds bulk - you'll need an extra bag to tote this cable since it will not fit on your laptop's bag, unless, of course, you leave the laptop behind. The S-Video and 3.5mm cables are separated by about 4 inches from the braided cable; you're SOL if your laptop happens to have the s-video and headphone jack farther apart. At the other end of the cable the three RCA connectors are separated by about 3 inches from the braided cable. The S-Video connectors are 4-pin mini DIN and are gold plated to make them look cool. The gold plating does not add anything to the signal, it's there just for looks and to charge the retail customer about $20.00 for a 2 cent job. Color coded 24k gold plated connectors.
