The VideoEase RGB Video Balun allows the transmission of three composite baseband video signals, such as RGB, YPbPr, YCbCr via unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable in a Structured Cabling System. It converts an RGB signal (or three other baseband video signals) from Coax to three UTP pairs. It can also be used to transmit one S-Video signal (with a special harness) and a composite video signal via Cat 5 UTP.
The VideoEase RGB Video Balun can be connected point-to-point or connected to the structured cabling via a modular wall jack in the work area. It is equipped with three female BNC connectors (red, green, blue) at one end and an RJ45 jack at the other end. Three colour coded (red, green, blue) 12" end-to-end RG59/U coax cables are supplied with the product.
Applications: Anywhere where you need to send:
- RGB, YPbPr, or YCrCb component video.
- S-Video & Composite Video - using a special S-Video to 2 BNC break-out cable harness that we manufacture.
- Three separate composite video signals.
A common application is to connect RGB monitors in banks, investment houses and stock exchange trading floors.
The VideoEase RGB balun carries a lifetime warranty and it's made in Canada by NHC/Muxlab.
The RGB Balun works in pairs, so order two.
