Your G3 / G4 Series may have come with an "S-video-to-composite" cable that was about 6 inches long. Instead of Apple's S-Video cable that has a 7-pin connector to a Female RCA jack, we've created an adapter that has 4-pins (since the other 3 pins are not used) and a Male RCA plug - in 1, 6, 12 and 24 ft. length. Our "straight-shot solution" is available in 1, 6, 12, and 24 ft. with Male S-Video to Male RCA connectors; no need to carry extra cables. Apple's connectors measures only 6 inches, end-to-end, and has a Female RCA jack. You'll have to buy and connect another cable to it - thus increasing the possiblity of getting disconnected and signal loss. - UL APPROVED CABLING.
