Our Active DVD to VCR Converter allows you to hook up your stand-alone DVD player directly to your TV-VCR combo unit. Our package includes the audio and video cables. Our "DVD to TV-VCR" solution differs from our "S-Video Conditioner" in that it is for "stand-alone" DVD players and uses only the RCA connectors instead of the S-Video connectors. The "RCA" connectors are the yellow, white and red audio/video jacks on your DVD and VCR. If you have a laptop with an "S-Video" out (either 7 or 4 pin mini S-Video connector) then buy the "Video Conditioner" solution. The advantages of our solution are: 1. You do not have to downgrade the video from your DVD player to an RF Video signal with an RF modulator. 2. You do not have to downgrade the stereo audio from your DVD player to mono-audio with an RF modulator. 3. You do not have to buy an expensive S-Video TV to use your DVD player. 4.
